How do I get bit‑perfect digital output?

Use Optical or Coax Out, enable Fixed Volume, and disable EQ/Mono in WiiM Home. Set output up to 192 kHz/24‑bit if your DAC supports it.

Which outputs can I use?

Line‑Out → amps, powered speakers, receivers Optical (SPDIF) Out or Coax Out → external DAC/AVR (up to 192 kHz/24‑bit )

TV connected but no sound over Optical‑in—what’s wrong?

Set your TV’s Digital Audio Out to PCM. SPDIF‑In is PCM‑only (no Dolby/DTS), otherwise you’ll hear nothing.

Yes. Use Line‑In or SPDIF‑In and create a WiiM multi‑room group in the app. Some turntables need a phono preamp before Line‑In.

Can WiiM devices play in sync with other AirPlay 2 speakers (such as HomePod)?

Yes. You can select WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus along with other AirPlay-enabled speakers—including HomePod—in the Control Center or the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to play them together in sync.

Which Bluetooth codecs are supported?

SBC and AAC for Bluetooth in and out (A2DP Sink/Source). For lowest latency (e.g., TV), use Optical/Coax instead of Bluetooth.

How do I start Bluetooth pairing quickly?

Hold Volume + and Volume – together for ~2 seconds to enter pairing mode (or initiate from the app).

Precise gapless playback is important to your listening experience. With precise gapless playback, the playback timing is guaranteed to be identical to the source. There are no gaps or overlaps (crossfading) between successive tracks. The gap will be very noticeable in " continuous " music such as live concert recordings, some classical music, etc.

Auto calibration of audio delay

The connected receiver or speaker may have different audio path latency due to different hardware, software and DSP processing. To maintain the synchronization of each system, it's desirable to measure the audio path delay automatically. By leveraging the on-device microphone and proprietary algorithm, the entire audio path latency is measured automatically when it's connected with the receiver or speaker. The latency value will be used to maintain the perfect audio synchronization in wireless multi-room or multi-channel playback.
